Don’t miss this explosive night of rock with Arnhem Land’s WILDFIRE MANWURRK and Australia’s own glam metal star, Battlesnake.
WILDFIRE MANWURRK is a six-piece that lives in a remote area between Maningrida and their ancestral home, Korlobidahdah, about eight hours from Darwin. Their music expertly blends traditional songlines with thrashing rock, and they sing in the endangered Kune, Dalabon, and Rembarrnga languages. A fusion of the ancient and contemporary, their raw honesty will astound you as they fire the Tumbalong Park stage.
Battlesnake is a seven-piece metal band renowned for their explosive live performances and epic songs. They’ve toured with KISS, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Jane’s Addiction, and their glam rock is a sight (and sound) to behold.
