With special guests: Stray Blacks.

Prepare for an unforgettable night of resilience, culture, and explosive music at Machine Hall Precinct, featuring the iconic First Nations rock-reggae band No Fixed Address. Stray Blacks, a band that embodies the passion and tenacity of the Victorian Koorie culture, will also perform.

No Fixed Address, founded in 1979 and led by Pitjantjatjara man Uncle Bart Willoughby, has long been a symbol of First Nations resistance and pride, using reggae and rock to criticize and fight societal injustices. This event promises to be a powerful tribute to the band’s enduring history, as well as an opportunity to enjoy their songs about survival, resistance, and cultural pride.

Stray Blacks have enthralled audiences for almost 30 years with their distinctive blend of rock, reggae, blues, and country, honoring Koorie culture’s vast diversity and the power of music to bring people together.

This will be an extraordinary night of storytelling and truth-telling that touches the heart, challenges the mind, and moves the spirit. Join us for a celebration of First Nations music, its transforming impact, and the lasting legacy of these two legendary bands.

This event is sponsored by the Machine Hall Precinct and the City of Sydney.
