A sequence of holograms of historical migrants materialize before your eyes, telling their stories of struggle and triumph through audio, archival pictures, and personal items.

These shimmering apparitions use cutting-edge holographic technology and are projected across Sydney’s Walsh Bay, illuminating our past and location within it. Meet the people whose individual stories and strength of character have helped build our lively city.

Installation represents the country of Australia.
