The iconic Australian road trip is twisted on its head. Explore this wild and bizarre universe as you move from the familiar to the minuscule realm of bacterial monsters.
Travel with national hero Reg Mombassa as retro-futuristic robots, one-eyed koalas, and other bizarre animals take over Customs House. Reg, one of Australia’s most beloved painters, takes us on an otherworldly adventure presented in his signature way.
Nothing here is as it appears. A renegade at heart, his lively but cutting humour casts established Australian idols in an unusual new light. We are left to reflect on our common identity and what it means to be human.
Dog Trumpet will perform live and free at Customs House on Saturday, May 25, at 7:30 PM.
