AALIA’s pleasant, sophisticated ambiance brings together modern European “crossroads cooking” with the depth and range of Middle Eastern food.
Gaze out over Martin Place as you tour the globe and through history with a stunning feast prepared by Nouri’s Ivan Brehm and AALIA’s Paul Farag. This unusual menu, created for two meals only, will combine Ivan’s culinary experience with Paul’s passion for Middle Eastern flavors that are less well-known. All provided in the luxurious setting of 25 Martin Place, which features beautiful floor-to-ceiling glass windows and warm oak curves.
Ivan, the chef-owner of Nouri, a popular Michelin-starred Singapore restaurant, is a true maestro of global cuisine. He was born in Brazil and has worked in the kitchens of Per Se in New York, Mugaritz in Spain’s Basque Country, Hibiscus in London, and Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck for four years before moving to Singapore in 2013 to run restaurant Bacchanalia.
With Paul’s desire to highlight the secret culinary traditions of Turkey, Lebanon, and beyond, this will be a really unique opportunity to experience global fusion at its most elegant.
